The City of Miami Springs will have its first Public Council Meeting since the emergency declaration due to the Coronavirus.  The meeting will be held on Monday, April 20th at 6pm, but it won’t be held at City Hall.  Instead, the city will be hosting a virtual meeting.  The details of how the council members and staff will join the meeting were not clear, but it’s likely to be a Zoom type meeting.

CALL INTO MEETING
The public will be able to participate by calling in to the virtual public meeting.  The call in numbers is 305-805-5151 then input the Meeting ID: 863-7957-4137 followed by #.  You will not have to enter a participant ID, so just hit # again when prompted.

EMAILED COMMENTS:
Members of the public may email their public comments to the City in advance of the meeting. Please email the City at cityclerk@miamisprings-fl.gov by 12:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting with the subject line “PUBLIC COMMENT” and the following information in the body of the email:

  • Your Name
  • Address
  • if you are a hired Consultant or City Employee
  • if you are engaged in Lobbying Activities and/or representing an organization

The City asks that you limit your comments to no more than 350 words. Public comments received via email may be read into the record during the public comment portion of the agenda, if any.

NOTE:  Public commentary can be about anything to do with the City of Miami Springs, including providing feedback on the new Circle that is sure to back up more traffic on the Circle and send cars into the interior streets of Miami Springs.  As stated above, you can email your comments in advance or call in to speak live during this portion of the meeting.
