2011 Election Results

MIAMI SPRINGS ELECTION RESULTS:

The election results are in.

The winners of the 2011 elections are Zavier Garcia, Dan Espino, George Lob, and Jennifer Ator.

According to the Miami-Dade Elections Office, we had 2,545 ballots cast out of 7,886 registered voters, or a 32% voter turnout for the Miami Springs Municipal Election.

MAYOR:

Zavier Garcia had 1,356 votes or 54%
Jaime Petralanda had 791 votes or 31%
Wallace Clark had 376 votes or 15%

CITY COUNCIL – GROUP II

Dan Espino had 1,701 votes or 69%
Helen V. Lawrence had 773 votes or 31%

CITY COUNCIL – GROUP III

George Lob had 1,392 votes or 57%
Mel Johnson had 1,045 votes or 43%

CITY COUNCIL – GROUP IV

Jennifer Ator had 1,319 votes or 53%
Grace Bain had 1,163 votes or 47%

NOTE: Bob Best ran unopposed and will retain his seat in Group I.
