A Brinks truck was held up at the Eastern Financial Credit Union located at 700 South Royal Poinciana Boulevard in Miami Springs on Thursday, October 11th. Using AK-47 style assault rifles, the three suspects described as black males in their 30s, stole an undisclosed amount of cash.
This is now the third robbery this year along the NW 36 street corridor. Earlier in the year, there was an incident that occurred on the Union Planters Bank in Virginia Gardens. In August, an elderly man robbed the Washington Mutual Bank just blocks away from the Eastern Financial Credit Union Brinks heist.
