Freddy Alfonso Quintero Ferreira was arrested by the Miami Springs Police Department on charges of Kidnapping, Robbery by Sudden Snatching, Tampering with a Victim, Criminal Mischief, and Battery.
According to MSPD, Freddy Alfonso Quintero Ferreira was involved in a domestic dispute that occurred on July 19, 2021. The female victim allegedly told Quintero Ferreira that she was going to call the police. At that point, Police allege that Quintero Ferreira toot the victim’s telephone by force and threw the phone on the ground. To make matters worse, Quintero Ferreira is accused of grabbing the victim and attempting to force the victim into his vehicle. MSPD allege that the victim was able to “break free and run away.” However, Police allege that Quintero Ferreira chased the victim down and pulled her back to his vehicle. He’s alleged to have taken her phone from her a second time and then throw her phone through the rear window of the victim’s vehicle.
By the time Miami Springs Police arrived, Quintero Ferreira had fled the scene.
Miami Springs Police were able to make contact with Quintero Ferreira on July 22, 2021 in order to talk about the incident. According to Police, the suspect gave a partial confession and was arrested.
