With the number of COVID-19 cases increasing statewide, it’s great to have convenient and FREE testing right here in Miami Springs. Thanks to the generosity from the Miami Springs Lions Club, you can get the PCR test or the Rapid Test for FREE.
As you might imagine, the President of the Lions Club, Elizabeth Kourtesis Fisher, has been slammed with questions. She’s providing the following answers to the most common questions she’s been getting. Here goes:
- There is no charge. It’s FREE.

Open Monday through Friday 9-5 PM

Rapid test results in a couple of minutes.

PCR takes 48 to 72 hours.

Results are sent via your email – write legibly

You do not need to live in Miami Springs.

You must bring a form of identification.

You do not need to be a US citizen.

It is done via oral swab or nasal swab.

No appointment is necessary.

The test site is outdoors under the patio at the Lions club, address 301 Swallow Drive.

The testing is done by a nurse.
