Our neighborhood grocer, Milam’s Markets, will be taking a much deserved break and close this Sunday for Easter.
As you might imagine, the current Coronavirus Crisis has been extremely stressful for all of us, and that includes the hard working staff and management at Milam’s Markets. We want to thank them for their hard work and appreciate this move to put their employees ahead of profits and give them a holy day off to spend with their immediate families.
Milam’s Markets shared the following message on social media: “We are incredibly thankful for our team who has shown up day after day, adapted to new challenges, and served our community during a situation we could have never imagined. We are proud to be closing our stores this Sunday in appreciation of our associates’ hard work and dedication.”
