Milam’s Markets has been an amazing member of our community through good times and bad.  Whether it’s been the pandemic or a hurricane, Milam’s has always been there, ready to serve our community.

As of this afternoon, Miami Springs is in a Tropical Storm Watch.  Tropical Storm Isaias has upgraded into a Hurricane as it approaches our east coast.  The good news is that you don’t have to go far to get your hurricane essentials.  Milam’s Markets, as usual, was prepared with shelves full of batteries, flashlights, canned goods, and dry milk.  As we’ve stated earlier, now is the time to get your hurricane supplies and be prepared should we lose power from the coming storm.

Hopefully, the storm stays to our east. Like the saying goes, hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.  So, we hope to enjoy the whole boneless beef tenderloin currently on sale at Milam’s, but we need to prepare should the storm jog to the west and hit us directly as a hurricane.

Be prepared and stay safe everybody.
