Today, Miami-Dade County and the City of Miami Springs added to the Sebastian Ortiz legacy by renaming Curtiss Parkway along Pinecrest Drive as Sebastian Ortiz Way.  The City of Miami Springs conducted a special street naming ceremony with Commissioner Rebeca Sosa, Miami Springs Mayor Maria Puente Mitchell, Miami Springs Councilmembers Victor Vazquez and Jacky Bravo along with Sebastian Ortiz’ parents (Oscar and Rose Ortiz), family and friends.
