In an effort to stop prescription misuse and opioid addiction before it even begins\, the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day encourages people to remove unused drugs from their homes. This action underscores the DEA’s commitment to the safety and health of Americans. \nThe DEA is dedicated to improving the safety and health of our communities\, and one way we can do this is by lowering overdoses and overdose-related fatalities. We are working to further minimize drug-related violence while the community does its part to return unused prescriptions and remove them from danger. \nSaturday\, April 27\, 2024\, from 10am to 2pm to be held at Community Policing Office (CPO)\, 274 Westward Dr.\, Miami Springs\, FL.   \nFrom 10:00AM-2:00PM at the commuting policing office 274 Westward Drive. \nThis is how it goes: \n\nReturning unused or outdated medication\nThe program is anonymous\nIf necessary\, erase any personal information from the label.\nKeep liquids in their original containers with tight lids.\nSyringes and injectables are not accepted\nIllegal substances like marijuana and meth are not allowed\, however if you are brave enough to bring illegal substances to the police\, you risk being arrested for having illegal substances in your possession.\n\nFrom 10:00AM-2:00PM at the commuting policing office 274 Westward Drive.

Southern Florida will need a collossal tag team to take on these titans and save our swampy paradise. The SoFlo Ridas have heard your calls and awakened Team Godzilla and Team Kong to protect our lands. \nOn Saturday\, April 27th\, come to CLASH OF THE TITANS to see a Godzilla x Kong themed roller derby battle! \nDoors will open at 3:00 PM and the first game will begin at 4:00 PM after the National Anthem and a short demonstration of how roller derby is played. Arrive early to get some shopping done in our vendor village comprised of local business owners. \nAt halftime\, stick around and join in the entertainment. We’ll be looking for a few young derby fans to help keep the city free from baby titans with a Monster Egg Hunt.
