DESCRIPTION:Blessed Trinity is hosting Ash Wednesday Mass on March 2nd as follows: \n \n\n7:30am English\n12:00pm Bilingual\n6:30pm English\n8:00pm Español\n\n \nAsh Wednesday is one of the most popular and important holy days in the liturgical calendar. Ash Wednesday opens Lent\, a season of fasting and prayer. \nAsh Wednesday takes place 46 days before Easter Sunday\, and is chiefly observed by Catholics\, although many other Christians observe it too. \nAsh Wednesday comes from the ancient Jewish tradition of penance and fasting. The practice includes the wearing of ashes on the head. The ashes symbolize the dust from which God made us. As the priest applies the ashes to a person’s forehead\, he speaks the words: “Remember that you are dust\, and to dust you shall return.” \nAlternatively\, the priest may speak the words\, “Repent and believe in the Gospel.” \nAshes also symbolize grief\, in this case\, grief that we have sinned and caused division from God. \nWritings from the Second-century Church refer to the wearing of ashes as a sign of penance. \nPriests administer ashes during Mass and all are invited to accept the ashes as a visible symbol of penance. Even non-Christians and the excommunicated are welcome to receive the ashes. The ashes are made from blessed palm branches\, taken from the previous year’s palm Sunday Mass. \nIt is important to remember that Ash Wednesday is a day of penitential prayer and fasting. Some faithful take the rest of the day off work and remain home. It is generally inappropriate to dine out\, to shop\, or to go about in public after receiving the ashes. Feasting is highly inappropriate. Small children\, the elderly and sick are exempt from this observance. \nIt is not required that a person wear the ashes for the rest of the day\, and they may be washed off after Mass. However\, many people keep the ashes as a reminder until the evening. \nRecently\, movements have developed that involve pastors distributing ashes to passersby in public places. This isn’t considered taboo\, but Catholics should know this practice is distinctly Protestant. Catholics should still receive ashes within the context of Mass. \nIn some cases\, ashes may be delivered by a priest or a family member to those who are sick or shut-in.

DESCRIPTION:Vocalist Michael boone was born in 1977 in a small town called Belglade Florida as a tinder age of five Michael discovered his voice while attending the new hope missionary Baptist church in Pahokee Florida a few years later Michaels in audition for the Palm Beach County school of the arts which is now call the Dreyfus school of the arts located downtown West Palm Beach . After completing and obtaining a diploma from the Dreyfus school of the arts \, Michael then attended the University of Miami school of music where he studied jazz vocal performance and studio music later to find himself the lead singer of the Vam Band as well as one of the lead singers of the Bay Kings Band. Michael has traveled extensively throughout the United States and overseas sharing his wonderful gift of song . You can find Michael each and every Friday night at Two Drunken Goats Riviera Beach Florida .  He has wooed and wowed thousands with his wonderful ability to reel you into each song and every lyric that leaves his lips . DESCRIPTION:FIRE BRIGADE is a high energy Rock & Roll band consisting of Miami-Dade County Fire Fighters. FIRE BRIGADE started rockin’ back in 2004 in between the many call s at Firehouse 16 in Homestead Florida. \nFire Brigade\nFIRE BRIGADE was founded by (Lead Vocals/guitarist) Eddy Alarcon and in early 2004 the band took its show to local clubs\, community functions\, charity events and has been supporting act for a few rock n roll legends. \nFire Brigade\nFIRE BRIGADE has been the opening/supporting act for such recording greats as:Blue Oyster Cult\, Lita Ford\, Joan Jett\, Molly Hatchet\, and Trick Pony \nFire Brigade\nIn 2011 FIRE BRIGADE made history by becoming the first ever FDIC Indianapolis Battle of the Bands champions! They were also named finalist for the 2010 & 2011 Hard Rock Café’s “London Calling” Battle of the Bands. \nOver the past few years they have developed a growing base of great friends and supporters including some diehard fans who are there for every show. FIRE BRIGADE plays a wide variety of Classic Rock favorites from legendary bands such as: GNR\, AC/DC\, U2 and Journey to name a few. As well as some modern classics from bands like: Kings of Leon\, Foo Fighters\, The Killers and many more. They even throw in some pretty cool funk here and there. Like all serious artists they are also constantly working on new songs adding to their already lengthy list. In 2011 FIRE BRIGADE released their first all-original album entitled “Her Pain” and they are currently in production of their second album to be released in 2013. \nFIRE BRIGADE would like to thank all of their supporters\, friends\, and especially family for always being there.
