DESCRIPTION:Fellow Golden Hawks! \nYou are being cordially invited to an event being hosted for all the alumni of Miami Springs Senior High School. From the first graduating Class of 1965 to our recently departed Class of 2022- we are asking for all our Golden Hawks to join us for a Homecoming like no other. \nOn Friday\, October 28th we will be hosting our first ever Ultimate Alumni Reunion. As a way to prepare us for the upcoming 60th anniversary of our beloved school\, we are creating a community of all alumni and reactivating the Golden Hawk Pride. This will be one of many events that will lead us toward the GRAND events of our 60th anniversary. The Ultimate Alumni Reunion will consist of the three main events we all loved and cherished from Homecoming Week. Therefore it is EXTREMELY NECESSARY for all our Hawks to be dressed in their best Garnet and Gold attire. \nALUMNI PEP RALLY: 5 PM\nTo kick off the event\, we will have nothing other than a Pep Rally to dust us off as the Golden Hawk Spirit comes alive in our very own School Gymnasium. Starting at 5 PM Sharp\, we will have performances from our very own MSSH Band\, Cheer Team\, Color Guard\, and the Golden Girls & Co Dance Team. In true pep rally fashion\, we will be searching for volunteers to participate in a few games. So get ready to have a flashback into your old glory days as we cheer on our MSSH Football Team so they can defeat our Homecoming opponent. \nMINI HOMECOMING DANCE\nFollowing our Alumni Pep Rally\, we will have all our alumni join us in the MSSH cafeteria for a mini Homecoming Dance. This Dance will be DJed by an alumni himself- DJ Oliver (Class of ’88). Dancing isn’t mandatory but highly recommended as you enjoy the company of all your former classmates. Alumni will be offered dinner and soft drinks as part of their package. We will have a photo booth for you\, your family\, and former classmates to enjoy. Don’t forget we will have Hank and Holly there for everyone to take pictures with. \nHOMECOMING GAME:\nFinally- to end your typical Homecoming experience- you would need your high school Homecoming Football game and that’s where all alumni will be off to next. At Ted Hendricks Stadium at Milander Park in Hialeah\, our alumni will meet to commemorate our Ultimate Homecoming experience. Alumni with a paid ticket will have Reserved parking\, VIP entrance\, and admission into the football game against the Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks. This is where we will be able to show the next generation of Golden Hawks what true Hawk spirit and pride looks like as we return to cheer on our Miami Springs Football team under the Friday Night Lights. \nThis is an event for alumni and their families too! Not enough people get to experience what being a Hawk is so this is our chance to give them a small glimpse of that luxury. Whether young or old- this night will get anyone hyped to be a Hawk.
