Daylight Saving Time Ends – Fall Back 1 Hour

It’s time to enjoy that extra hour of sleep! Daylight Saving Time officially ends on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 2:00 AM.
Remember to set your manual clocks back 1 hour before you go to sleep on Saturday night, Halloween night (October 31). Most smartphones, computers, and digital devices will adjust automatically overnight, but microwave ovens, stove clocks, coffee makers, and traditional wall clocks will need a quick manual adjustment.
Important Home Safety Reminder:
Fire safety officials across Florida recommend using the bi-annual time change as a convenient reminder to test and replace the batteries in all household smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms. Fresh batteries and functioning smoke alarms save lives!
- ⏰ When to set clocks back: 2:00 AM on Sunday, November 1, 2026 (or before bed Saturday night)
- 😴 Perk: 1 extra hour of sleep!
- 🔋 Safety Check: Replace smoke alarm batteries
