Dedication of a Memorial Monument for the 50th Anniversary of Eastern Flight 401

Eastern 401 was an L-1011 that crashed in the Everglades just before midnight on December 29, 1972. 101 souls perished and 75 miraculously survived. 

Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 1:00 PM the memorial will take place at the 700 block of Curtiss Parkway, directly across from the golf driving range of the Miami Springs Golf and Country Club.

In the EMAIL, please let us know if you or someone in your party is a survivor of the crash or a family member of someone who perished. There will be special seating areas.

Hosted by two flight Attendants/ Survivors, Beverly Raposa, Mercy Ruiz, and a 401 supporter Shannon Dewitt.
