Traditional Door to Door Trick or Treating in Miami Springs

Miami Springs is known for having the BEST traditional door to door trick or treating in all of South Florida. Our family friendly neighborhood, walkable streets, and welcoming community makes us a standout and the envy of the rest of Miami-Dade County.
Halloween 2022 promises to be loads of fun with kids in costumes…crowds in the streets…and hopefully some great weather. Residents are already starting to decorate the neighborhood and prep for the thrilling fun of Halloween.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
DRIVERS:
Folks, there are going to be lots of kids walking on the streets Halloween night. Slow down while driving. Treat interior residential areas with active trick or treaters like school zones. Drivers, be patient. And most importantly…Do not drink and drive. Put your phone down. Pay attention to the road.
PARENTS:
Bring flashlights. It’s dark in Miami Springs. Flash lights let you brighten up dark streets and sidewalks. There are lots of trip hazards along swales that may not be visible. Most importantly, flashlights help to alert drivers of your presence, especially when crossing or walking along our dark streets.
Glow sticks and bracelets are also great addition for children to wear to keep them visible on the streets. We know most kids don’t wear bright costumes and i’ve never seen anyone put reflective tape on a costume. A good ol’ fashion flashlight will do the best job.
POLICE PRESENCE
The Miami Springs Police Department always has a strong presence patrolling the streets on Halloween. If you see an erratic driver or anything else suspicious, contact the Miami Springs Police Department at 305.888.9711.

Good morning , is it open to any family that live near by in hialeah and If so where do we park ?
It’s neighborhood trick or treating. Miami Springs is not a gated community and it is open to everyone (except those interested in committing crimes.) As for parking, consider parking at a friends house. Otherwise, you’ll have to figure out what part of Miami Springs you’re interested in trick or treating, and look for public parking in that area. Examples of public parking include the Westward Drive commercial parking area, the Miami Springs Rec Center, Etc.
ok awesome thank you. It’s hard cause we don’t know anyone and I wanted to take my wife and son somewhere safe but it’s hard to leave our vehicle any where. Thank you for the reply God bless
