Michael Putney interviewed Coral Gables Commissioner Jorge Fors and Miami Springs Councilman Victor Vazquez on This Week in South Florida. Both are running for the District 6 Seat of the Miami-Dade County Commission currently held by Rebeca Sosa.
The big news by Michael Putney is that Dariel Fernandez has apparently dropped out of the race. That leaves Jorge Fors, Victor Vazquez, and Kevin Marino Cabrera.
According to Putney, Kevin Marino Cabrera had not responded to their requests to be interviewed. We don’t know if it was a last minute request or what happened, but we had no trouble meeting with and interviewing all four candidates for the District 6 County Seat.
