We live next to one of the busiest airports in the world, Miami International Airport. Hearing planes take off and land is no surprise to anyone who calls Miami Springs and Virginia Gardens home.
However, as the Village of Virginia Gardens stated, “Airplanes are not permitted to perform ‘run-ups’ between the hours of 11pm – 6am.” According to the Village of Virginia Gardens, the Village has received complaints about late night airport noise. As a result, the Village is encouraging residents to call 305.876.PLANE (7526) and report any disturbance between the hours of 11pm and 6am.
