Miami Springs Police and Special Response Units surrounded a home on the 600 block of Quail Avenue, one block south of Miami Springs Senior High on Tuesday morning, May 13th. A suspect had barricaded himself inside the home.
As a precaution, Miami Springs Senior High School is on lockdown. The lockdown is just a precautionary procedure whenever there is nearby police activity. The school is not in danger.
