Before Monday night’s Miami Springs city council meeting, there was a special ceremony held inside council chambers to swear-in a new officer and promote and honor some of our existing officers.

Deputy Chief Albert Sandoval
Lieutenant Albert Sandoval was promoted on Monday from Lieutenant to Deputy Chief. Congratulations to Deputy Chief Sandoval.
Lieutenant Albert Vargas
Sergeant Albert Vargas was also promoted on Monday night to Lieutenant. Congratulations to Lieutenant Vargas.
