After years of planning to build four new residential homes at the former Miami Springs Optimist Club property, the property is now listed for sale again for $3.2 Million.

In the Spring of 2024, the City Council had approved the proposed Plat changed that would create four single family homes in what was the former home of the Miami Springs Optimist Club.

The Miami Springs Optimist Club is located at the intersection of Hammond Drive in between Wren Avenue and Oriole Avenue.

The proposal would divide the Optimist Club property into 4 individual residential lots for single family homes. Two lots would face north on Oriole Avenue. Two lots would face south on Wren Avenue.

Early renditions were very attractive, modern, luxury two story homes. These homes would probably fetch north of $1.5 Million today.

However, now it appears it’ll be up to the next property owner to redevelop the Optimist Club parcel.
At $3.2 Million for the entire block, it values the land for each lot at $800,000. The lots ranged from 9,655 sq ft to 9,755 sq ft.
