All Clear after Police Raid on Mokena Near NW 36th Street

The City of Miami Springs Police Department assisted the City of Miami SWAT Team conduct a warrant home search on the 600 block of Mokena Drive earlier today (Monday, April 18, 2022).

As a customary precaution, Miami Springs Middle School and AIE Charter School were placed on lockdown.

At 11:45am, the City of Miami Springs announced that the area was secure and the all clear was given.
