The Miami Springs City Council unanimously approved a zoning change request for the property that includes the former Miami Springs Baptist Church Parking Lot and basketball court along Esplanade Drive.  The change will rezone the property for single family home residential.  This will allow the new property owners to build a new single family home at the location.  The rezoning does not allow multi-family apartments or a duplex.  It can only be a single family home.
