On Friday, April 18th, the Miami Springs Police Department shared the announcement of the arrest of a juvenile that stole a $5,000 gold Cuban link bracelet.
According to the report, a Miami Springs resident listed the gold Cuban link bracelet on Facebook Marketplace. The juvenile suspect met the seller at a Miami Springs apartment complex. According to Miami Springs Police, the juvenile suspect “snatched the bracelet and fled the scene, nearly striking the victim’s son with his vehicle during the escape.” The incident was caught on camera in the video below:
The Miami Springs Police Department’s Detective Bureau worked the case and were able to identify and locate the suspect. MSPD worked together with the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Officer and were able to take the suspect into custody. The juvenile faces charges for strong armed robbery and grand theft over $5,000.
