The Miami Springs Senior High Golden Hawks baseball team has had a notable 2024 season. They recently triumphed over Mater Lakes Academy with a standout performance by Samuel Camacho on May 7, 2024 (MaxPreps.com). Earlier in the season, they also claimed victory against Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) with a score of 7-5 on April 25, 2024 (MaxPreps.com). Additionally, they beat Northwestern High School 11-0 on April 30, showcasing their strong performance throughout the district tournament (MaxPreps.com).
The Golden Hawks’ win over Mater Lakes Academy on May 7th secured the District 4A-15 Championship for the 2024 Season!
Unfortunately, Mater Lakes would exact revenge on Wednesday, May 9th in the FHSAA Baseball State Championship 4A Tournament by beating the Hawks 3-6 (MaxPreps.com).
