MIAMI SPRINGS COVID-19 CASES
Our zip code, 33166, now has 1,706 confirmed cases of COVID-19. There were 41 new cases added in the last 7 days. We estimate Miami Springs has 938 cases of the Coronavirus.
FAIR HAVENS
The State of Florida adjusted its number back down to 52. Clearly, someone didn’t come back from the dead. It appears the State of Florida Department of Health made a clerical update and adjusted the number from 53 last week back down to 52. The good news is that it appears the COVID-19 fatalities have slowed down at Fair Havens. Hopefully, this is the end of Coronavirus fatalities related to Fair Havens.
MIAMI-DADE
The number of cases continue to go down in Miami-Dade County. There were 4,459 new cases in Miami-Dade last week. It’s encouraging to see these numbers continue to go down.
MIAMI-DADE HOSPITALIZATIONS
Despite the decrease in cases, hospitalizations went up last week in Miami-Dade County. The Florida Department of Health reported an additional 506 new hospitalizations last week.
MIAMI-DADE FATALITIES
Fatalities also spiked in Miami-Dade with 247 new fatalities in the last week. It marked the 2nd highest number of COVID-19 weekly fatalities in Miami-Dade since the start of the pandemic.
STATEWIDE CASES
The number of new cases statewide has flattened to over 20,000 new cases per week. That’s down from the highs of over 80,000 per week, but 20,000 new cases per week continues to be a high number of people.
STATEWIDE FATALITIES
The number of new fatalities increased over the last 7 days in the State of Florida with 844 new COVID-19 related fatalities.
