The City of Miami Springs is engaged in an exploration of opportunities to improve the NW 36th Street corridor and the Abraham Tract. Combined, this area is being referred to as “Southeast Springs.” The NW 36th Street corridor forms the southern boundary of the City from Curtiss Parkway to LeJeune Road, while the Abraham Tract district is generally bound by Le Jeune Road on the west side, South River Drive to the north, NW South River Drive to the east, and a segment of the Florida East Coast Railway tracks to the south. These two areas have struggled with crime and a disconnection from our core city. Furthermore, the area appears generally unattractive, uninviting, with poor walkability and minimal greenery or beautification options.
As a stakeholder in this process, the City wants your perspective. Specifically, the City wants to know what three words would you use to describe the NW 36th Street Corridor in Miami Springs.

dirty, decrepit, scummy
Congested, unwelcoming, declining
3 words: OLD – UNINVITING – UGLY
