The Miami Springs Parks and Recreation Department held another fantastic community event this past weekend with the annual Easter Egg Hunt.

The department distributed thousands of Easter Eggs at Douglas Orr Park at Prince Field on Saturday where hundreds of kids were ready for their chance at the Easter Egg Hunt.

And then, they were off.
The kids, dressed in their “oh so cute” Easter outfits went hunting, filling their Easter baskets with the treasured Easter Eggs.

We want to thank the Miami Springs Parks and Recreation Department for hosting this great Miami Springs tradition. It’s just another great tradition that makes Miami Springs such a wonderful place to raise a young family.

Some of the parents who took their children to the Easter Egg Hunt may have themselves participated in this same Easter Egg Hunt a few decades ago.

We also want to thank the Miami Springs City Council for their support of these community events. And Miami-Dade County Commissioner, Natalie Orbis was also on hand to share in the Easter festivities.

Miami Springs is truly a special, family friendly community, in the heart of the greater paradise we call Miami.
