Holy Thursday Evening Mass at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church
Join us on Holy Thursday for a profound and moving Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 8:00 pm (Bilingual). Holy Thursday marks the beginning of the Easter Triduum, the holiest days in our calendar.
During this sacred liturgy, we commemorate the Last Supper, the poignant meal that Jesus shared with his disciples on the eve of his Passion. It was during this meal that Jesus instituted the sacrament of the Eucharist, revealing to his apostles the true
significance of the bread and wine as his Body and Blood.
One of the most symbolic rituals of Holy Thursday is the washing of the feet, mirroring Jesus’ act of humility and service towards his disciples. Through this act, Jesus teaches us the importance of selfless love and service to one another.
As we gather to celebrate the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, let us reflect on the profound mysteries of the Eucharist and the priesthood, and renew our commitment to follow Jesus’ example of love and humility in our own lives.
