Factory Town in Hialeah wants to be a good neighbor. As the Miami Springs City Attorney has stated, the legal team representing Factory Town has been very responsive.
The problem is that after two years of relative calm, something appears to have changed at Factory Town leaving many Miami Springs residents once again with sleepless nights. Here are just a few examples:
– I didn’t sleep at all last night. The music was blasting all night. This is unbearable. I have videos of the banging bass. – Yalennis Masy Gonzalez

– I heard it until after 5:00 this morning and I live by the high school. – Laney Silver
– I let my dog out this morning at 6am and the boom boom music was still going boom boom and utz utz. – Victor Robles

At last week’s Miami Springs City Council Meeting, the City Attorney stated that they are following up with Factory Town to address the changes that impacted to many Miami Springs residents during their most recent concert event.
We received a notice that Factory Town wants to find a balance to provide a great concert venue, but also be respectful to the Miami Springs neighbors. The latest proposal we received was to offer Miami Springs residents FREE ear plugs ahead of their next event. They had apparently also looked at providing noise cancelling head phones, but the size and bulk make it an impractical and uncomfortable solution to wear while sleeping. So, according to the latest proposal issued on April 1st, the response team appears to be ready to issue soft ear plugs for Miami Springs residents.

RE: Factory Town offering ear plugs?
Really? What a joke. Ear plugs will not stop the vibration of the bass, which is the real problem. Trust me. I have tried ear plugs and white noise to no avail.
We residents of Miami Springs have been extremely patient, allowing our city officials to try to work things out with Factory Town and the City of Hialeah through diplomatic channels. The time has come to act. If factory Town “refuses” to address the real issue, reducing the decibel levels of their noise, then legal action will be our only course of action.
Enough is enough already!
