Springview Elementary is a special school. It has been where many Springs residents began their educational career. That’s no different for our new Police Chief, Matthew Castillo.
What’s wonderful is to see our new Chief of Police giving back to our community by going back to his roots at Springview Elementary. Recently Chief Castillo stopped by Springview Elementary and took time to read to the students.
It’s wonderful to show students that through hard work, discipline, and perseverance, that they too can achieve great things. It’s even more meaningful when that person was once in the same shoes and the same school as the students.
We want to thank Chief Castillo for his continued to commitment to our beautiful Miami Springs Community.
