Roberto Hercules was arrested on Friday, October 14th and charged with the following crimes including attempted murder in connection with the stabbing of a woman last week on South River Drive, just west of the train tracks in Miami Springs:
- Attempted Felony Murder / Firearm / D Weapon / Aggravated Battery
- Robbery / Armed / Weapon / Attempt
- Battery / Aggravated / Great Bodily Harm / Weapon
WPLG Local 10 reported that Roberto Hercules was wearing a cowboy hat, but was otherwise “completely naked” when he attacked the female victim last week with a machete.
According to WPLG, the female victim had “extensive injuries” including:
- Fractured skull
- “Small brain bleed”
- Broken Arm
- Large Laceration on Left Hand
According to the report, the victim was stable, but still in intensive care at a local hospital.
The report claimed that the incident happened in Medley. It did not happen in Medley. It happened in the small unincorporated area of Miami-Dade County that separates Miami Springs from Medley. Miami Springs is currently attempting to annex this area and if successful, it will be an area Miami Springs Police will patrol more regularly in the future.
According to the Local 10 report, the Miami-Dade Police Department was the law enforcement agency that arrested Roberto Hercules who was found in Hialeah.
