According to the May Crime Stats published on CrimeReports.com, Miami Springs had 2 assaults, 2 assaults with a deadly weapon, 6 breaking and entering incidents in non-residential areas, 2 residential breaking and entering incidents, 2 narcotics violations, 3 property crimes, 1 robbery, 8 thefts, 15 vehicular burglaries (by far the most common crime), and 3 stolen vehicles.
It may sound simple, but keep your car locked. Be extra vigilant when parking your car along NW 36 street where the majority of the vehicle break ins have occurred. Watch your surroundings.
