Today, we came together as a community to honor the courageous men and women who have served our country with dedication and bravery. Veterans Day 2024 was a heartfelt celebration of their sacrifices, a time to reflect on their service, and an opportunity to express our deepest gratitude.

We extend a special thank you to our Mayor, City Council, Bob Best, Commissioner Kevin Cabrera, and School Board Member Dan Espino, whose presence demonstrated their unwavering commitment to recognizing the sacrifices of our veterans. Their support, along with that of all the dignitaries in attendance, underscores the unity and respect we hold for those who have given so much for our freedoms.
A heartfelt acknowledgment goes out to the Virginia Gardens Police, Medley Police, and MSPD for collaborating on this Honor Guard Detail. A special thanks as well to Cub Scout Pack 425 for standing alongside MSPD, further demonstrating the importance of community and teamwork in honoring those who served.
