The Miami Springs Police Department joined the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Human Trafficking Task Force, the Florida Attorney General’s Office, and local and federal law enforcement agencies during the 2026 FIFA World Cup to combat human trafficking across South Florida.
The coordinated operation, which included efforts in Miami Springs and Virginia Gardens, focused on identifying victims, arresting offenders, and disrupting human trafficking networks. MSPD thanked its law enforcement partners for their shared commitment to protecting the community and holding traffickers accountable.
