The annual Miami Springs Veterans Day Ceremony at the newly renovated War Memorial was brightened by the Lord’s grandeur with bright blue skies and spectacular weather.
The ceremony was well attended including local Miami Springs and Virginia Gardens dignitaries including Miami Springs Mayor Walter Fajet and VG Mayor Spencer Deno. Our County Commissioner, Natalie Orbis, and Miami-Dade Tax Collector, Dariel Fernandez were also in attendance.
Of course, the heart of the ceremony was in honoring our veterans, both past and present. We are blessed to live in a piece of paradise we call Miami Springs. We are blessed to live in a land of peace and prosperity. Thanks to the sacrifice, bravery and commitment by our former and current veterans are we able to live with the greatest and most free nation in the world. The one and only United States of America.
