Miami Springs Police are reporting of a shooting incident that occurred Sunday, March 8th along the 500 block of Esplanade Drive around 9pm. According to MSPD, “one individual was airlifted to Ryder Trauma with a gunshot wound and is expected to survive.”

Residents shared on the Miami Springs Community Group that a helicopter had landed on the golf course.

According to Miami Springs Police, this was an “isolated shooting incident. The scene is secure, and there is no danger to the surrounding area or public. The investigation remains ongoing.”
As stated by the Miami Springs Police Department, this is still being investigated, but early indications point to a domestic shooting. We’ll keep you posted as more details come out from this shooting incident.
