Remember when no one would ever dare to speed in Miami Springs? Remember when drivers were scared of seeing Officer Don Mazzone (retired seen below) appear standing in the middle of the road?
Well guess what? MSPD is working hard to regain that reputation with very visible and aggressive traffic enforcement operations.
Today, the Miami Springs Police Department announced their “newest traffic united, dedicated to enforcing traffic laws and educating drivers” on how to drive in Miami Springs. MSPD announced that the “team issued 156 citations, made 2 arrests, and executed a seized tag order.”
The department stated on social media: “We remain commmitted to a zero-tolerance, full-enforcement policy.”
We welcome the continued high visibility, high engagement campaign by the department.
