The Curtiss Mansion, located in the heart of Miami Springs, Florida, is a stunning 1925 architectural gem that blends rich local history with timeless elegance. A Rich Aviation History

The mansion was built as the primary residence for Glenn Hammond Curtiss, widely known as the "Father of Aviation" and a contemporary of the Wright Brothers. Curtiss was also a pivotal figure in the 1920s Florida land boom, instrumental in developing the cities of Miami Springs, Hialeah, and Opa-locka.

Designed in the distinctive Pueblo-Mission Revival style, the estate features classic adobe-style walls, central courtyards, and unique architectural details that stood out from the typical Mediterranean Revival homes of the era.

After changing hands several times over the decades, the property eventually fell into severe disrepair and suffered from three separate arsons. However, a dedicated all-volunteer group led a 17-year grassroots effort, raising over $4.5 million to meticulously restore the estate to its original 1925 splendor. The mansion officially reopened to the public in 2012 and is now proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The property boasts 3.5 acres of verdant tropical landscaping and offers eight distinct indoor and outdoor event spaces. It can comfortably host up to 350 guests.
