Anyone who’s lived in the area for a long time knows that the Palacio Inn located on Okeechobee Road has hosted some sketchy looking characters. According to local media reports, 2 men were shot today at the Palacio Inn.
Ironically, according to the local reports, the shooting occurred after the Hialeah City Council was working on a law to ban hourly motel rentals within Hialeah city limits. No word on whether the City of Miami Springs will take similar measures to stop hourly rentals within Miami Springs City Limits. It’s no secret we have a lot of crime, prostitution, and underage human trafficking occurring within Miami Springs hotels.
