CBS 4 News is reporting that a 28 year old male has died after succumbing to injuries endured during Friday’s fire in Virginia Gardens.
The fire occurred in what was a firefighter training exercise at 6500 NW 36th Street. It’s the building at the northeast corner of NW 36th Street and 66th Avenue.
The man who died has been identified as a 28 year old male who is not a firefighter, but was related to a firefighter. As CBS 4 mentioned in the report, this raises questions as to why this man was in the building.
