The Florida Department of Health has raised the count of COVID-19 fatalities from Fair Havens to 33. Fair Havens continues to lead the entire State of Florida with the highest number of COVID-19 fatalities at an elderly nursing home. All 33 deaths were from residents who lived at the facility. The state has reported no fatalities among the infected staff members.
By comparison, Seminole Pavilion Rehabilitation & Nursing Services in Pinellas County has had 25 deaths including 24 residents and 1 staff member ranking as the 2nd worst in the state. In Miami-Dade County, Claridge House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center has the 2nd highest number of fatalities with 21 resident deaths.
