Westbound NW 36th Street was shut down at Curtiss Parkway Tuesday morning as emergency crews attended to a motorcycle accident. According to multiple online reports, it appears there was an accident between a car or SUV and a motorcyclist. Witnesses claimed to see the body of the motorcyclist laying on the road.

Drivers should avoid the area of NW 36th Street from Curtiss Parkway to the Candlewood Suites. You can use the internal roads of Virginia Gardens and exit on the western side of the village to access 36th street and bypass the shutdown.
