Join us in congratulating Miami Springs Police Lieutenant Albert Vargas on his new promotion to Deputy Chief of Police for the City of Miami Springs.
Vargas was promoted to Deputy Chief after the current Deputy Chief, Albert Sandoval, was promoted to Chief of Police. Sandoval took over the top cop role after Chief Castillo was poached by the City of Doral.
The City of Miami Springs posted the following message to social media:
The Miami Springs Police Department is proud to announce the appointment of Lieutenant Albert Vargas as our new Deputy Chief of Police.
As he steps into this new role, we are confident that Deputy Chief Vargas will continue to build upon our department’s strong foundation while helping lead MSPD into the future.
