WPLG is reporting of an armed robbery caught on camera this week at a Miami Springs hotel. In the video posted by WPLG, you can see the suspect appearing to aggressively confront the victim before forcing the victim inside the hotel room.
The suspect, Sergio Morales was arrested today by Miami Springs Police and charged with:
- Armed possession of a controlled substance
- Armed burglary with assault or battery
- Armed robbery
- Armed Grand Theft
- Possession of a short barrel shotgun, rifle, machine gun
- Carrying a concealed firearm
- Resisting an officer without violence
It wasn’t clear which hotel was involved with the incident, but based on the exterior stairwells and exterior facing doors, it appears to be at one of the older motels.
