One of our beloved brothers in Christ, James Jagessar – father of Terry and Louise Jagessar and grandfather of Jazmine, Jade, and Jordyn – experienced the true meaning of being “absent from the body is being present with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:8) when he went peacefully to be with the Lord on December 2, 2020.

James was a God-fearing man who exemplified faithfulness and hard-work. He displayed the value of being a servant leader at home, at church, and in the community.  His friendships ran deep, creating fond memories that ran even deeper.  He loved and lived life to the fullest but drew his true purpose in being heaven-bound, fixing his eyes on his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  His two favorite places to be were anywhere his family was, and the church.

James is survived by his wife Inez, and his 4 sons Ray and wife Vida (Joshua, Joy, Joel, Jeremiah), Terry and wife Louise (Jazmine, Jade, Jordyn), Robin and wife Vilma (Jenna, Jayda, Jaden), Chris and wife Michelle (Sofi, Grace).  His twelve grandchildren were the light of his life and the love of his heart – being with them made his heart sing.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A private service will be held by the family; the service will also be streamed live on the Poinciana United Methodist Church Facebook on Saturday December 12th at 6pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the LinC Student Ministry of Poinciana United Methodist Church where his grandchildren have learned about the love of Jesus – something that he spoke about every chance he got.

To God be the Glory for the life that he lived!
