The City of Miami Springs held its annual Memorial Day Ceremony in honor of the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

The ceremony was held at the upgraded War Memorial on Curtiss Parkway and was attended by city officials, local civic leaders, veterans, and residents alike.

The City of Miami Springs posted the following on social media:
We thank all of the veterans who attended and recognize the MSPD & Virginia Gardens PD Honor Guard, Pastor Emilio Chaviano for leading the invocation, and the Office of Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis for their participation.
A special thank you to Brownie Troop 2405 for the laying of the wreath and Scout Troop 334 for leading the flag retirement ceremony following the event.
