In a recent operation that underscores the effectiveness of proactive policing, the Miami Springs Crime Suppression Team and K-9 Unit made a significant arrest during a routine traffic stop near a local hotel.

The incident unfolded in the 3900 block of NW S. River Drive, where according to the officers, observed a vehicle allegedly committing a traffic infraction while leaving one of the area’s hotels. The officers acted swiftly, pulling the vehicle over.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the male occupant, identified as Joseph Delions, allegedly had an active warrant out of Broward County for first-degree murder.

But that’s not all – the female occupant, Desiree Gonzalez, was also taken into custody after allegedly admitting to having crack cocaine and a glass smoking pipe in her purse.
