Local news reports surfaced this week about an incident last week where a Miami Springs Senior High baseball player`s father sucker punched the Miami Springs Senior High Baseball Coach. According to published reports, the father of the baseball player, Robert Rodriguez, punched the coach, Jason Moris, after the coach had cut Rodriguez` son from the post-season roster to comply with a state mandate which restricts the post season roster to just 20 players.
