NBC 6 is reporting that Miami Springs Police found the dead body of a woman inside a car Tuesday morning.
The car was described as being in the area of the 3700 block of NW 42 Avenue (aka Le Jeune Road). Witnesses posted on the Miami Springs Community Group on Facebook that police were investigating the parking lot at Talkin’ Tacos located on South Royal Poinciana Boulevard and Le Jeune Road.
The report indicates that the discovery was made Tuesday morning just before lunch time.
According to the report, Miami Springs Police responded to the scene based on the report “of an unresponsive person in a vehicle.” Miami-Dade Fire Rescue was also summoned to the scene and pronounced the woman dead upon arrival.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives take over whenever there’s a homicide within Miami Springs.
Details on the identity of the victim and cause of death have not yet been made available.
