Deer Run was briefly flooded Wednesday afternoon, just east of Curtiss Parkway, after crews working on installing new Verizon Fiber lines cut through a water pipe causing water to gush and flood the roadway and yards of the immediate homes nearby. One home had water intrusion in the garage causing some minor damage. Also, due to the pipe break, some of the nearby homes temporarily loss water pressure.
