Miami Springs shines once again with the family friendly camping event held at Prince Field at Douglas Orr Park last weekend. The event allows families to camp outside overnight at Prince Field with plenty of games to keep the kids active and even a family movie viewing to allow the kids to wind down.
Setup began Friday evening as families brought their tents and camping gear to spend the night under the stars.
The event is organized by the Miami Springs Parks and Recreation Department and due to its popularity, sells out pretty fast.
The Miami Springs Police Department was also on hand ensuring the families the safest camping site in the county.
This is but another in the long list of family friendly events that makes the Miami Springs Community and ideal place to raise a family.
We want thank the City of Miami Springs and the Parks and Recreation Department for hosting this event on a chilly January night for the 9th straight year.
